How To Sign Up For Legitimate Surveys

There are many scam survey sites that collect your personal information, make you take surveys, and never pay you a cent… this is one reason for writing this article. The surveys I have listed here will pay you when you complete surveys and other tasks.

There are some smart ways to tell which survey companies are legit and which are not. You should avoid survey sites that:

  • Offer to make you rich. No survey will pay you enough to make you retire – far from it!
  • Ask you to pay to register. Legit opinion sites are always free to join.
  • Ask you to provide intimate information like your SIN or credit card information.
  • Have a minimum payout threshold that is unreasonable. If you can’t earn the minimum amount easily, how can you ever cash out your rewards?

How Much You Can Earn From Taking Online Surveys

Each survey you take will likely pay you anywhere from 50 cents to $10 on average for 10-30 minutes of your time. You won’t qualify for all surveys, and some survey sites will only send surveys occasionally.

Most surveys will also pay you for doing other tasks, including signing up, referring friends, browsing, playing games, reading emails, trying out products, shopping, sweepstakes, and more.

A strategy to ensure you can earn some decent amount from online surveys is to sign up for several legitimate surveys, try them out, and then trim them down to 5 or so that work for you.

“How Much Money Can You Earn?” Anywhere from a few bucks to as much as $500 per month, depending on how many survey sites you join and how many surveys you qualify for per month.

That being said, don’t quit your day job. Survey sites are only for making side income.

How You Get Paid By Survey Sites

Many of the survey sites available to Canadians will reward you with points that can then be redeemed as cash (via Paypal, Cheque, or Direct Deposit) or for gift cards from popular retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks, etc.

Check what the minimum payout threshold is when deciding whether a survey panel is worth your time.
