The Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back Card provides many opportunities to earn cash back on everyday purchases. With this card, you’ll earn:

  • 4% cash back on gas and grocery purchases
  • 2% cash back on bill payments and pharmacy purchases
  • 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases

You can earn 4% and 2% cash back in the applicable cash back categories until you reach $25,000 in purchases. After that, you earn 1% cash back. 

Visa Infinite Benefits

With the Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back Card, you get access to Visa Infinite services like a personal concierge, luxury hotels, and dining. 

Visa Infinite Concierge – 24 hours, 7 days a week, you can access a concierge service to help plan activities, make reservations, and more. 

Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection – when you stay at a hotel that’s part of the Luxury Hotel collection, you can enjoy exclusive benefits like automatic room upgrades, complimentary wifi, complimentary breakfast, and late checkout.

Visa Infinite Dining Series – twice a year, get access to a series of culinary events with prized chefs. 

Insurance Benefits

This card comes with a ton of insurance benefits, including:

Emergency Health Care Coverage – get up to $5 million in coverage per each insured person under 75 for eligible medical services and care. 

Common Carrier Accident Protection – get up to $1 million in coverage if you, your spouse, or your children are the victim of accidental death on a common carrier. 

Trip cancellation & Interruption Insurance – get up to $2,000 in coverage per person if your trip is cancelled or unlimited coverage if your trip is interrupted after departure. 

Baggage Insurance – get up to $1,000 in coverage per person against damaged or stolen baggage and $500 in coverage for delayed baggage. 

Car Rental Collision/Loss Insurance – get up to 48 days of coverage if your rental vehicle is damaged or stolen. 

Mobile Device Insurance – get up to $1,000 in coverage if your mobile device is stolen, lost, or accidentally damaged.  

Purchase Protection – on eligible items, get a maximum of $10,000 per item or $50,000 per account in the event of theft, damage, or loss. 

Downsides of the Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back Card

As with all credit cards in the Visa Infinite program, you’ll need to have a minimum annual income of at least $60,000 or $100,000 household income. 

This is a cash back credit card, so you cannot earn and redeem points on travel, shopping, or other rewards. 

Also, once you reach a maximum of $25,000 in annual purchases in the 4% and 2% cash back categories, you can only earn 1% cash back.

The interest rate is 20.99% on purchases and 22.49% on balance transfers and cash advances. 

You can earn up to 2 points per dollar spent based on your net spending over a yearly period. These points can be used to pay your credit card balance or redeemed for travel rewards

Is the Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back Card For You?

If you meet the annual income requirement and spend a lot on gas, grocery, and pharmacy purchases, this card may be for you. You get up to 4% cash back on all purchases, which can rack up fast if you spend in the high-earning categories. 

However, after spending $25,000 on the 4% and 2% categories, the rewards will fall to only 1% cash back, which is something to think about.
