Downsides of the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card

This credit card has the maximum earning and redeeming potential at hotels participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program, so it is only worth it if you plan to stay at Marriott Bonvoy hotels at least a few times a year.

You will use more points if you redeem your points on other options, such as Amazon gift cards.

Another downside of the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card is the high missed payments interest rate. If you miss 2 payments during a 12-month period, the interest rate will increase to 23.99%.

If you miss 3 or more payments within 12 months, the interest rate will increase to 26.99%. Thus, you need to ensure that you can pay the minimum monthly payment by the due date.
