Drop App Invite Referral Code 2024: Get a $5 Bonus

Updated:

Fact Checked

The Drop App is a free rewards app that gives you cash back when you shop at your favourite stores, including Walmart, Starbucks, McDonaldโ€™s, Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, and others.

New app users receive a $5 cash bonus (5,000 points) when they sign up using a Drop Referral Link or enter a Drop invite promo code.

The Drop app is one of a few cash back apps available to Canadians and Americans who want to earn money back when they shop.

Other cash back rewards apps similar to Drop are Rakuten, Checkout 51, MyPoints, and TopCashback. Rakuten offers a $30 welcome bonus (more details below).

You can read our detailed Drop App review for more information about what it offers.

2024 update: Tons of users have noted they arenโ€™t able to cash out their rewards on Drop. Keep this in mind if you decide to use the app. We no longer provide the referral link here. You can try KOHO or Rakuten instead.

Drop Invite Code and $5 Referral Bonus

When you sign up using a Drop invite referral link and link a card, you receive 5,000 points.

As a Drop member, you can also share your invite code with friends and family, and when they join, link a card, and confirm their email address, you both get $5 bucks free!

To find your Drop invite code, open the app and tap on โ€œInvite Friends.โ€ Copy your referral code or share it with friends directly using word of mouth, email, text, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media.

How Does The Drop App Work?

I find Drop to be one of the easiest shopping rewards apps to use. There is no need to scan a receipt to claim your points since the app tracks it automatically and credits your account. It is also free to join!

To start earning points:

  • Download Drop (direct referral link to get a $5 bonus โ€“ no promo code is required).
  • Link your debit and credit cards
  • Shop at your favourite stores
  • Earn Drop points and redeem them for popular gift cards

In addition to the 5,000 bonus points you receive when you sign up, there are bonus points for linking your cards, redeeming offers, referring friends, joining the newsletter, and promoting Drop on social media.

After signing up, you gain access to more than 300 popular brands and can earn points every time you shop with them.

Drop points can be redeemed at any time. Simply go to the redeem tab, choose your desired gift cards, and tap on redeem. It is that simple!
