Desjardins Credit Score Check
Your account score is a three-digit number ranging from 300 to 900. The higher your score, the higher your chances of qualifying for credit.
Credit scores measure your creditworthiness, and banks use them to assess whether you have been responsible with paying off your debts.
When you check your credit score via Desjardins, it is considered a “soft inquiry” and does not impact your score.
If you apply for a Desjardins credit card and they pull your credit history, this is considered a “hard inquiry”.
Hard inquiries can lower your credit score by a few points.
Desjardins TransUnion Credit Report
Your credit report shows your credit history over the years, including the accounts you have opened, credit limits, payment history, employment history, and public information such as bankruptcies, judgements, and collections.
The information in your TransUnion credit report is used to calculate your credit score.
You can also get a copy of your Consumer Disclosure or credit report directly by contacting TransUnion.
